1. About Langwhich
Langwhich is an online language-learning service operated by Escape Systems SL, Spain.
Langwhich helps users learn languages through AI-generated stories, news content, vocabulary tools, translations, explanations and other language-learning features.
By creating an account or using Langwhich, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Using Langwhich
You may use Langwhich for personal language-learning purposes.
You agree not to:
- use Langwhich for unlawful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts;
- interfere with the operation or security of the service;
- use automated systems to abuse the service or bypass usage limits;
- submit content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes the rights of others.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
3. AI-generated content
Some content and explanations in Langwhich are generated using artificial intelligence.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccurate translations, inappropriate wording or other mistakes. Langwhich is intended as a language-learning aid and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Users should use their own judgement when relying on AI-generated information.
4. Stories, news and third-party content
Langwhich may provide access to news headlines, articles, links or other content originating from third-party sources.
Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners. Langwhich does not claim ownership of third-party news content and is not responsible for the accuracy, availability or policies of external websites.
5. Credits
Certain AI-powered features require Langwhich credits.
Credits may be purchased in one-time credit packages. The number of credits included in each package and the price will be displayed before purchase.
Credits:
- are associated with the user's Langwhich account;
- have no cash value;
- cannot be transferred between users;
- cannot be resold;
- are consumed when eligible Langwhich features are used.
The number of credits required for a feature may change over time. Any material change will be shown within Langwhich before the relevant feature is used.
6. Payments
Payments for Langwhich credit packages are processed by Paddle, our authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record.
Paddle handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes/VAT, invoices and payment-related buyer support.
Escape Systems SL does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Purchases are also subject to Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Langwhich Refund Policy, Paddle's applicable refund rules and any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Langwhich available and reliable, but continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
We may improve, modify, add or remove features where reasonably necessary to maintain or develop the service.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
9. Intellectual property
The Langwhich name, branding, design, software and original service content are owned by or licensed to Escape Systems SL.
These Terms do not grant users any ownership rights in Langwhich.
You retain rights to content that you submit to Langwhich, subject to the rights necessary for us to process that content in order to provide the requested service.
10. Termination
You may stop using Langwhich at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account where there is serious or repeated misuse of the service, fraud, attempted security breaches, violation of these Terms or other unlawful activity.
11. Limitation of liability
Langwhich is provided as a language-learning service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Escape Systems SL is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, legal requirements or business practices change.
The current version will always be available on the Langwhich website and will show the date of the latest update.
